HR Assistant

Summary

  • Assist in the implementation of HR programs and policies, all functions of employee relations; record-keeping, orientation and training, and employment administration.
  • Provide assistance in the recruitment and hiring process such as posting jobs on job website, reviewing applications, tracking an applicant's progress, and administering pre-employment tests as required.
  • Prepare paperwork needed to create new employee profile and to place new employee on payroll
  • Assist in maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
  • Maintain and monitor employees' attendance and benefits.
  • Provide advice and assistance to employees, for compliance with company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Provide assistance in implementing and monitoring the employee performance appraisal process.
  • Keep up to date with current issues and matters in the organization related to HR department.
  • Handle issues and HR-related inquiries of employees within his level of authorization, in the absence of his superior
  • Perform specific research/investigation into operational issues, as requested
  • Perform administrative and other HR related functions

Payroll Related Function

Provide payroll with the following:

  • DTR/Timesheet
  • Schedule of loan deductions

Employee Staffing

  • Reviews resumes and Schedules department interviews for the concerned department
  • Assists in orientation of new hires
  • Prepares paperwork required and establish personnel files

Qualification

  • Education:      Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Psychology, or any related field.

  • Experience: At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field but fresh graduates are welcome to apply

    Exposure with all varieties of HR issues with a tactical, hands on approach

  • Skills: Organized and detail oriented. Good problem solving and decision-making skills; good oral and written communication skills; must be good at

    handling and working with people.

  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio.
